The Three Villages


Oakfield Village

Oakfield Village provides 492 new homes and is influenced by the Garden City Movement. It will see the delivery of the first phase of Canal Park, together with Oakfield Park and Broughton Brook Park. In addition to the new homes, there will be a community building comprising of a children's day nursery and a community hall. 

Oakfield Village is nearing completion. 


Orchard Green

Orchard Green is influenced by the local settlements of Wingrave, Weedon and Tring. It is set in almost 50 acres of public open space and parkland, with Railway Park located to the south. 

The 859 new homes in Orchard Green will be served by a new bus route running through the centre of the village, with regular services into Aylesbury and beyond. Cyclists can take advantage of a new off-road cycleway running though the village. Community facilities will be provided including a community centre, sports pitches, a new primary school, a site for a secondary school and allotments.

Canal Quarter

The Canal Quarter will be focused around an informal canal basin (though not linked to the canal) and will reflect the historic centre of Aylesbury. This is where the main neighbourhood centre, including the health centre, community centre, nursery, police offices and a number of retail units will be located. The public transport hub will be also be located here. The first phase of residential development within Canal Quarter has been approved.
